Prepared in terms of your eyes.Here, I give five tips to make sure you aren't struck with eye related tragedy.Click here for a more in-depth post.Tip #1 - Carry a SpareSpare glasses belong on your list of holiday things. Countless holidays have been ruined by lost or broken glasses.You're in an environment that is not an the ordinary. Don't be surprised if your glasses went for a walk - or when accidents happen.Carry a spare pair with you.Tip #2 - PrescriptionIf you are far away from your home, its a good idea to have an up-to-date prescription with you. It's the second best thing to carrying a spare set of glasses.You can head to the local optometrist in the area and get another pair of glasses made up without an eye exam - saving you time. Be wary that optometrist maybe closed over a holiday period and the glasses may take time to be made up.Tip #3 - Contact Lenses wearers: Take you GlassesIf you intent to wear contact lenses the entire time on holiday, take you glasses with you.It's normally a good idea to give you eyes a break from contact lens wear. In addition to this, at the unfortunate instance you eyes get infected, you must cease wearing your contact lenses (and see an eye care professional) until your treatment is completed.Tip #4 - Cleaning Cloth and SprayYou glasses will get dirty during your stay-away.
